Absentee Ballots will be available as soon as possible, but due to the shortened turnaround of this Special Election, voters should make a plan to vote in person on Election Day at their polling place. Further information will be posted as soon as it is available. Absentee Ballot Request forms are available here, but ballots cannot be mailed out until we have recieved them from the ballot printers. This may result in a very short turnaround between mailing ballots and the election day deadline of 8 pm on January 28th for ballots to count. The final day to request a mailed absentee ballot was January 13th at 5pm.
Please remember Curbside Voting on Election Day is always an option. If you are unable to enter the building where the polling place is located because of a disability, you may vote curbside. Two precinct election officials, one from each political party in partisan elections, will bring voting materials to you in your car. You can then mark your ballot in your car. You may want to call us ahead of time or bring someone with you to tell the precinct officials you wish to vote in your car. A phone number to call will be posted on a sign in the parking lot of the polling place.
Early voting in the Auditor's office will be available on or about January 17th. Daily office hours are 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday. The Auditor's office will be open Saturday January 25th from 7:30am - 3:30pm for early voting as well. All Scott County ballot styles will be available.
