Archived Election Details

The Davenport, North Scott, and Pleasant Valley School Districts will hold a Special Election on Tuesday March 3, 2026 from 7 am to 8pm. This election will be held for the purpose of renewing the Physical Plant and Equipment Levy (PPEL) that is currently in place in Scott County.

The City of Walcott will also hold a Special Election on Tuesday March 3, 2026 to fill a vacancy on the City Council.

Vote Centers will be used for this election. Voters may vote at any of the following locations on Election Day:

Voter Registration

Pre-Registration deadline for voter registration closes at 5:00pm Monday, February 16. Persons wishing to participate in this election who register to vote after February 16 will be required to provide proof of identification (i.e. current and valid photo identification card with an expiration date), AND proof of residency in their voting precinct, when they go to the polls on election day, or when they request an absentee ballot in-person. Other provisions may also apply. Persons not registered to vote by February 16, should expect a longer processing time at the polls on election day.

Absentee Voting (Early Voting & In-Person Early Voting)

Absentee Ballots will be available beginning Wednesday, February 11, for mail and in-person voting. Download the absentee ballot request form here.

The first day of in-person absentee voting and the first day the Auditor's Office can mail ballots is Wednesday, February 11.
The last day an absentee ballot may be mailed to a voter for this election is Monday, February 16.
In-person absentee voting in the office of the Scott County Auditor closes at 4:30pm on Monday, March 2.
Requests for absentee ballots must be in writing and should be mailed or delivered to: Scott County Auditor, 600 W 4th Street, Davenport, IA 52801
The drop-box will not be used for this election.

All domestic absentee ballots must be received by 8:00pm on Election Day to be considered on time to be counted. Postmarks no longer are acceptable.
